To the residents of Rockingham, Westminster, and Brookline, I am truly honored and blessed by all the people that came out and voted for me. Everyone’s support along the way was inspiring and motivating to know you believed in me. Despite falling short by just a couple hundred votes it was an amazing experience. It reaffirmed my belief that we live in a community with hard working, caring people, who support one another.
Even though we didn’t prevail, please know your voices have been heard. The Representatives that won have now been elected to represent you. It is very important and urgent to continue to use your voice to convey your concerns to them so they understand your struggles and where you stand on important issues. A strong, engaged community can work to overcome these challenges together.
I need to thank my family and friends for their unwavering support. Jesi my de facto campaign manager, my sounding board and miracle worker. My Uncle Chris, for his time and efforts to stand in for me at the polls in Westminster. My brother Sean, for helping by standing in for me in Brookline. My sister Kelley, for her guidance from her experience as a Representative and standing in for me as well. My parents, who continue to believe in me regardless of any outcomes.
My wife Jaimi, for standing by me even though she would sacrifice the most with my time away as a Representative. Knowing they all had my back, allowed me to pursue change for Vermonters.
Thank you for the amazing opportunity and reaffirming my love for our great community.
